How to add products in Bookee?

To add products into Bookee, you can follow the below steps:

• Navigate to Manage > Products

• Click on Add product

Title & Description

• Title: Enter the name of the product that you want to display to your customers.

• Description: Enter the description of the product, describe your product in detail to inform and persuade your potential customers

• Status (Draft or Active): Update the status to active once the product is created. Product will be visible for sale only if they are in an active state

Adding varients

You add variants to a product that comes in more than one option, such as size or colour. Each combination of option values for a product can be a variant for that product.

To setup variants, we have to first define options available for the product:

• Enable the check 'This product has multiple options' If the product has multiple options like different sizes, colors etc

To add options, you can follow below steps:

• You can add a maximum of 3 options for each product. They can differ from product to product. Let's say one product can use size, color, and style and another product can use weight, finish, and material.

• Enter a name for the option, such as Size in the option name

• In option values, enter each option value followed by a comma, such as Small, Medium, Large. When you enter a comma, the option values appear as tags

As you add the product options, a list of variants appears.

Under each variant, update the below details by clicking on the edit option:

• Pricing: The price that you're charging for the product

• Compare at price: The original price for a product that is on sale. When you enter a compare at price, the product displays a sale price

• Charge tax on this product: Check this field if tax should be applicable on this product

• Add Image: Add the image of this variant. You can add multiple images for the variant

• SKU(Stock Keeping Unit): The code that identifies the product within your business. Each SKU needs to be unique for better tracking

• Quantity: Enter the available quantity of this variant at each location

Once you updated the above details for all the variants you can click on save. The product will be created.
