In Bookee, you can automate the notifications that you want to send out to the customers.
We have 50 plus notification options under 6 Trigger groups based on actions like Sale, appointment, etc. which you can use to create an email, text or push notification that will send personalized messages to the customers anytime they perform an action matching the trigger.
In this article, we will be showing you how to set up a notification
To set up notification be at the location and navigate to Manage > Notifications and click on New notification

1. Name and event
Name: Enter the name of the notification
Trigger group: Select the trigger group for which you want to create a notification
Trigger: Select the trigger for the action you want to send the notification
Send before/ Send after: Based on the action selected to send the notification, Bookee automatically selects if the notification should go before or after the action. Enter when you want the notification to be sent out once the action is performed
Example: Appointment reminder notification is sent before the appointment and Thank you email is sent after the appointment.
Send to: Select if you want this notification to go out to customers or staff members

2. Channel
Channel: Select if you want to send this notification via email, SMS or a push notification

3. Message
Enter the message you want to send to the customers
For sale related notifications, If you are sending a message via email, you will have an option to attach the invoice under the dynamic attachment field
For email and push notifications, you can use tags to make the message more personalized, When you use tags the data will be sent out specific to the customer bookings. You can click on the tag you want to use to add it to the message.
Test message: you can send yourself a test email/message to check how the notification will look like before enabling it

4. Do not deliver window
You can update the time during which you do not want to send the notification. If no change is made the notification can go out whenever the notification is set to go out, irrespective of the time.

The notification will be added and the staus will show running
