1. Prerequisites for class schedule

Before we create a class schedule we need to add the below prerequisites to the system

  • Service category

  • Facility

  • Cancellation and no show policy

1.1 Creating a service category

To create a Service category you can follow the below steps:

  • Be at the location and navigate to Settings > Bookings > General

  • Under service category click on Create category

  • Enter the name of the category and click on Create category

The service category will now be created

1.2 Adding a facility

To add a Facility you can follow the below steps:

  • Be at the location and navigate to Manage > Services > Facility

  • Click on Add facility

  • Enter the name and description of the facility and click on Add facility

The facility will now be added

1.3 Setting up cancellation and no show policy

To set up the Cancellation and no-show policy you can follow the below steps:

Be at the location and navigate to Settings > Bookings > General > Cancellation and no-show policy

  • Click on create new policy

  • Enter the name of the policy

  • Under Free cancellation update the hours in which the customer can cancel their appointments without no show and cancellation charges

  • Under Late cancellation enter the amount you want to charge the customer if they have unlimited credits

  • Under the No-show policy enter the amount you want to charge the customer if they do not cancel and miss the class

  • Click on Add policy

The cancellation and no show policy will be added

2. Adding a class schedule

To add a class schedule, navigate to Manage > Services > Class Schedule > Create class

2.1 Enter the basic details of the class

  • Class name: Enter the name of the class

  • Category: Select the service category this class falls under from the dropdown

  • Description: Enter the class description. This will show up on the website and the customer app when the customer views the class information

  • Online class: Turn this setting on if it is an online class

  • Facility: Select the location of this class from the dropdown

  • Instructor: Select the instructor for this class

  • Class size - Select the size of the class

  • Color: Select the color you want this class to show up on the calendar

2.2 Setting up advanced settings

  • Cancellation and no-show policy: Select the cancellation and no show policy applicable for this class from the dropdown

  • Level: Select the level for the class (i.e., Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, or All) Customers will be able to filter the classes on the website and customer app based on the level

  • Start date: Select the start date of the class schedule. The schedule will be updated on the calendar based upon the start date you select here

  • End Date: Turn this option on if the class has an end date and select the date. The schedule for this class will no longer show up on the calendar after this date

  • Visible to customers: Turn this option on if you want the customers to sign up for this class from the website or customer app

  • Featured Class: Turn this option on if you want this class to show up as a featured class on the customer app

2.3 Setting schedule

  • Repeat schedule every: Select the frequency you want the schedule to repeat from the dropdown

  • Select days: Select the days of the week the class occurs

  • Add time slots: Add the time slots for this class on each day. If this class has multiple slots each day you can add them by clicking on Add time slot

  • Settings: If the facility, instructor and class size is different for any of the class you can update it by clicking on the settings icon beside each slot

  • Apply to all: If it is the same schedule for all the days you can click on Apply to all

  • If you have different instructors or facility or class sizes for each slot you can update it by clicking on the gear icon beside the time slot

  • If the time slot and its settings are the same for all the days, you can copy it by clicking on Apply To All

2.4 Setting up price

  • Payment Method: Select if this is a free class or If this class can be booked only using credits

  • Can be booked using: Select if this class can be booked using all memberships or only using selected memberships

👉 If you checked on selected memberships, check on the membership that can be used to book this class

After you entered all the details click on Create Schedule. The class schedule will be created and will start showing up on the calendar

👉 How does the class schedule show up on the calendar?

🚨 Once you added a class schedule you will not be able to edit the name of the class and change the class type from in-studio to online or other way round
