Waitlist Notifications

To enable notifications for waitlisted appointments you can navigate to Manage > Notifications > New Notification

Below are the triggers available for the Waitlisted Appointments -

  1. Slot became available (inform everyone on waitlist)

  2. Waitlist: Customer added (by staff)

  3. Waitlist: Customer joined (via website/app)

  4. Contact moved from waitlist to booked

1. Slot became available (inform everyone on waitlist)

This notification has to be enabled if you have selected any of the waitlist settings let it be Inform Customer or Automatically Book. To automatically book if the class start time falls under the waitlist cutoff window then this notification will inform all the customers regarding the available slots along with the link for confirmation

2. Waitlist: Customer added (by staff)

This notification when enabled will inform the customer if they are manually moved from the waitlist to booked by any of the staff members

3. Waitlist: Customer joined (via website/app)

This notification when enabled will send a confirmation message to the customers when they have added themselves to the waitlist for any class

4. Contact moved from waitlist to booked

This notification when enabled will send a message when a customer is moved from the waitlist to booked either by staff or based on the automatically book setting

Creating Notification

To create a new notification follow the below steps -

Name and Event

  1. Enter the name of the notification

  2. Select Trigger Group as Class

  3. Trigger - Select the trigger you want to enable

  4. Select the time you want to send the notification after an action is performed

  5. Select either staff or contact under send to. If you have selected staff then select the staff members you want to send this notification to

Channel

  1. Select the mode of channel for the notification from Email, SMS, and Push Notification

Message

  1. For email notification - Select the from email, enter email subject and the message. You can use the default message or customize it to your liking

  2. For SMS - Enter the message you want to share

  3. For push notification - Enter the notification title and the message

For email and push notifications you can use tags to make the message more customized for the customer.

Once you have updated the message you can send yourself a test notification by giving your email/mobile number to see how the message will go out to the customers

Do not deliver window

  1. Select the window in which you do not want to send notifications to the customer.

Once you have completed the above steps click on create notification and the notification will now be live
